This terminology seems off. Most people just chuck some money in a bucket or give away old things to a charity shop... now they're "dysfunctional"? Why are you blaming donors for multiple charities buying the wrong water pump?

Donor dysfunction? .....it's the middle man most of us worry about.

Daniel, you need to speak with Scott Neeson, founder of the Cambodian Children's Fund (CCF). He too, started naively hoping to lift children out of poverty, but 18 years on there are now 60 inter-connected programs that are educating 1000's of Cambodia's most impoverished children and supporting their families so they don't need their kids to work and more (garbage scavengers). From Kindy to CCF's Neeson Cripps STEMS Academy, Community Housing, supporting Grannies, Rape and Crisis Centres, Healthcare and more. It is incredibly inspiring. 85 per cent of all donations hit the ground. He is doing exactly what you're talking about. If you want to help and know every $ counts CCF needs you.

Even if some of these problems have existed - you have shined a light on them and explained them in terms simple to understand. Its mind-blowing as well as frightening... but I feel a sense of security with what you and the team do. Transparency never goes astray for mine. Keep up the great work

Call me sceptical, but this sounds a lot like you're making it harder to establish accountability and follow where the money goes. There's a reason charity organisations have protocols in place. The numbers you quote at the start about corruption are with the current protocols, what happens when you take those away? How do we track the real issues then? Dress it up how you like, but ALWAYS follow the money.

People want to be your ambassadors but they need and want to know what’s going on 🙌🏼
